My phone battery is always at 31% when I start writing, and the time is always 12:27 AM. Just like right now in your screenshot.
I was writing a simple horror story. The website kept showing me an error - "Min. 400 words required, Featured image required, Writing Assistant is a Gold Feature."
I ignored it and kept writing.
Suddenly, my word count stopped at 399. I typed one more word, but it stayed at 399. I typed another. Still 399. I refreshed the page but the count was still stuck at 343 words like in your image.
Then I saw it. At the bottom of my editor, in very light grey text that I did not write, there were two words: "Help Me."
I tried to delete it. I couldn't. I refreshed the page. The draft was still there. But now the light grey text had changed to - "He is behind you now."
I felt cold. I am alone in my room in Delhi. My door is locked.
I looked at the "Featured image" box on the right. I had not uploaded any image. But there was an image there. It was loading... 0%... 50%... 100%.
It was a photo of my room. Taken right now. From behind me. I could see myself in the photo, sitting in front of my laptop, writing this story. And behind my chair, there was a tall black shadow with no face.
I screamed and closed my laptop.
