Saudi Arabia has just announced free luggage storage facility for Umrah pilgrims 2025, reported by Saudi Press Agency (PSA). Umrah pilgrims can now store their luggage of up to 7 kgs for the duration of at least 4 hours. Umrah pilgrims will get a “reclaim ticket” which they must provide to retrieve their belongings.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced that the storage facilities are situated east of the Grand Mosque near the Makkah Library and Gate 64. The Saudi authority is planning to expand the storage area encompassing the Grand Mosque soon.

6 months imprisonment or fine of up to SR 50,000 will be imposed on those who transport rule-breakers during Hajj and Umrah.
Vehicles used for transporting violators can be taken away by court order.
Violators will be banned entry into KSA in future.
Hajj, Umrah guest or the Prophet's Mosque visitor, who travel outside Makkah, Jeddah or Madinah during validity of the visa granted to him or after its expiry will face a fine of SR 10,000 or 1-month imprisonment.
The Ministry stressed that violators will face a double fine of SAR10,000 for repeated offenses.
