Use Evidence Without Letting It Take Over
Quotations have their place, but most coursework does not need a quotation every few sentences.
In many cases, paraphrasing is more effective because it allows you to integrate the research into your own argument.
When paraphrasing, though, make sure you are genuinely expressing the idea in your own words and still provide the required citation. Changing a few words from the original is not enough.

Pay Attention to Referencing
Inconsistent referencing can make otherwise strong coursework look unfinished.
Use the referencing style specified by your university or department, whether that is Harvard, APA, MLA, IEEE or another system.
Then check the details carefully.
Before submission, ask:
- Have I cited ideas that came from other authors?
- Are direct quotations clearly identified?
- Does every in-text citation appear in the reference list?
